Am I imagning things or have some things changed in the Configurator? First of all, I now see Invisishield as an option for only $100! Second, I can't find the white lights option anymore. Not that it matters for me. My car is now in NY!!!

Yes, the configurator is not to be trusted (not always up-to date)...I had to get the real deal from my MA. Invisishield prices don't include installation.

 

A reminder note also - pay little attention to Step 5. Everything in Step 5 is a dealer-installed option, which means that prices do not include labor, and the prices as stated are also subject to change by the dealer.

In my opinion, when speccing out your MINI, you should focus only on Steps 1 through 4, as those are the factory options. The Step 5 options are something you can always get later from the dealer, after the car is built and has arrived! Step 5 is interesting from an academic perspective though, to see what else is available.

 

I noticed people saying they ordered their MCS with a wood dashboard and steering wheel. Those options were not available in the configurator when I used it recently. Just on example of it not being up-to-date.

 

Are you checking the additional options on the bottom area?
