I'm not sure if I am missing something here. I am picking up my daughter at school. I pull up in the cue and we want her to be able to drop her bag in the hatch, jump in and we go. But I can't pop the hatch unless I shut off the car, remove the fob, and press the button. Is there any way to pop the hatch without shutting off and pulling out the fob?

 

Doesn't the central locking toggle switch unlock everyting?

Thanks all. You know I hardly ever had reason to use the switch - at the gas station - and I was beginning to think it did not make much sense!
