Call me crazy for ordering

So I did it. I ordered a 2007 Cooper Classic, Mellow Yellow with the premium pkg. Expected delivery was end of July.

This will be a big change from the Chev 1500 quad cab! I think the mini would fit in the trucks bed.

Let the buyer's remorse begin......

Congrats! We test drove a Mellow Yellow and it's a great color. My kid especially liked it. You'll love it.

Welcome to a new world where driving is actually fun.

Where are you going to put the hay bales? Or, are you keeping the Chevy?

Congratulations...I don't think you'll regret it. If the stupid snow would stop I'd be on the road now. Did you go with Crowfoot or out of town?

Don't worry...I got rid of a 2005 F150 supercrew lariat which i used to log my bikes around, I though I was going to miss the truck, nah. The first time I went to the pump and my bill was half...Oh yeah and I left the gas station much faster then before......You'll love it.. I do

OK, your crazy for not ordering a month ago. I ordered mine on Feb. 20th and it will be herein 3 to 6 days. But I started my research and talked to my MA about the R56 back in Sept., so it has been a long wait. You can always rent a truck for a day if needed. Welcome to NAM.

Thanks all!

I did order through Crowfoot in Calgary. I guess I was a little hard on them. The sales lady was out of town for a couple of days and nobody checks her e-mail or voice mail. However, when you are ready to order you are ready to order.

The Cooper Classic is the plainest of plain jane. 15" tires, no fancy headlight washers, single color paint job. Other than that it is the same.

The truck will be going back to the dealer in Sept (lease). My father has a similar truck and loved driving the mini on our weekend test drive. So when I need a truck, he gets the mini.

Now with my luck the wife will get pregnant with twins!

What are the most common aftermarket upgrades?
- some decals would look good
- maybe a turbo and 17" rims lol.

If you want turbo you should just get the MINI Cooper S. That's what its all about. There is still time change before yours starts production.

For decals, there's lots of great stuff available. Check out the gallery at:

Or, for just stripes:

Congrats on your MINI! We also traded in our truck and there have been things here and there we miss it for but we manage to figure it out and I have certainly never regretted it. Im actually one of those people who turn around a couple times to check out their car as they are walking away. Oh, and dont worry about the wife having twins. A girl and her husband both have MINI's and just had twins. The car seats fit just fine!
