Good point.. :-) I was at a stop light - and I don't like to even be on the phone when I'm driving.

Congratulations! I never have a problem breaking in a car. I have a ritual I perform with every new car.

The first Saturday after I pick up the car, I get up early in the morning (5am), then hit the road. I normally get home around 10pm that night and log approximately 700 to 800 miles on the car.

I just drive and check out all the neat stuff in the car. My Wife just shakes her head a lot at my silliness.

WELL, I'm only at 400ish miles, but having fun - R56 moves baby - but keeping it with the break-in limists. Can wait for that day to come

I thought so too (that is what my MA told me) then the very next day I read in the manual that break in is at 1200 miles.

Moves is right! I LOVE it. First turbo I've ever owned. I love the feeling of acceleration regardless of what gear I'm in - including 6th! This car wants to move.

I'm around 500 miles and motoring...
