If you call 866-ASK-MINI and talked to a associate, they can give you the list of options that have been ordered with your car. I did that yesterday as the anthricite headliner and LSD did not show up in the owners lounge. I also stopped at the dealership last night to get a copy of my build order and check out lightning blue in person. It's definetly the color I want. Nice metalic blue. It's almost the the same color as hyper blue from the R53 but a tad darker.

The dealership just called me and said that they are showing all of the correct options. They believe the Owner's Lounge just takes some time to update options. They said they've seen it before. I was also told that even though I purchased it this week they were able to put it in one of their Week 15 slots which is good news. Looks like I'll have to start a week 15 thread.

Update from ASK-MINI

I just called the toll-free line, we're still scheduled for production next week, but the guy told me they're actually running just a little ahead of schedule right now, so not impossible that we'll actually start late this week. Maybe.

Longest estimate still puts us about 3 weeks into May for delivery. 1 week for production, 1 week to port, 2 weeks to get stateside and another 1 week for dealership distribution (that's for the East coast, folks). Although the helpful Mini guy on the phone did say these would be his longest estimate, not soonest.

I'll be calling ASK-MINI tomorrow. I try to only call twice a week. Nothing has changed since I got my production number almost a month ago.

Third week in May would be perfect for me.

Am I considered wk 16?

I spoke with Ask-Mini and was told I would start production in wk 16 with a completion on week 18. So I'm not quite sure where that puts me. My MA says it should arrive in early June (west coast).

If anybody has a clue on this please let me know, then maybe I can actually get back to work and stop constantly checking the owners lounge for any changes.

You are only in production for one week. My guess is that you are scheduled for a "production pack" in wk 16 (which I humorously envision as all the parts of your car tossed into a big cardboard box) and assembly wk 18. There was a two week gap between those stages for me.

The owners lounge is by far the slowest to update. The automated line at 866-ASK-MINI is a little better, and a live person there (or your MA) is the best.

Good luck on your wait!!!

Ditto.

One week from now they'll all be sitting around in the MINI nursery together!

The OL status has finally changed for me - saying my MINI is 'Scheduled for Production.' I called ASK MINI and the robot guy told me it will be done by April 19 - One week from today!

Now I just need to read the week 12 and 13 threads to see what I'll be experiencing 3-4 weeks from now - which ship it's on and when does it get to the VDC.

4/17 for me!!!

kimmc- if you find any good info that is buried in threads that we might not see, would you mind repeating it here? There is a sticky here https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=70301
on tracking your mini. But the main post is from last year and I think some of it is no longer so accurate.

I still haven't recieved a production date as of this morning. I called and tried to talk to customer service but they said their system is down so I'll have to try back this afternoon.

Roandren: will your car be arriving at Peabody or Chambers?

Chambers...it's just a mile away from me! It's been a good experience with them so far.

YAY!

I called today and was told my car actually started production yesterday morning (4/12), which is several days early.

Funny thing is, the stupid website still just says "On Order" with no production date scheduled. duh.

I'm still figuring on mid-late May delivery, though, all things considered (production, shipping, inspection, distribution, dealer prep).

I called this afternoon and was told I went into production this morning with an ECD of 4/19. Owner's lounge still says "On Order" and the automated message on ask-mini still says "no production date set."

As of late tonight, the website has finally just updated to "scheduled for production" (even though it's already in production). Nice to see the change, though...

I wasn't 100% sure of my production week but called in to the automated line just a couple of minutes ago and found out that my MCS is scheduled for completion on April 20th.

Now the wait is gonna be even worse for it to get here.

I think I was originally scheduled for week 16, but my Mini apparently was born on Friday the 13th and is scheduled to be done on the 20th. Woot!
Now I have some new name ideas too...

I think that's still "week 16" even though we started Thursday/Friday of week 15. A Mini guy told me last week that they were running a couple of days ahead of schedule.

It appears I am week 17 now. I called yesterday and ASK-MINI said I was pushed to week 17 with no reason. I left a message with my MA to see if he could figure out what happened. Oh well, it will get here when it gets here.
