R56 Question for Someone with Black Punch Carbon Leather Seats
Question for Someone with Black Punch Carbon Leather Seats
Are they comfortable? Do they appear that they will hold up well? Compared to the leather lounge seats (if you know)? TIA
Yes, they are comfortable. As far as quality is concerned, yes, they appear that they will hold up well. I have the equivalent in my 04 MCS and the quality of the leather itself is far superior in the 07. The surface seems more durable and more resistant to showing minor scratches and wear from normal use,
agreed. I sat in a Cooper S with the Punch Black leather seats and they were very nice. But at $1500 I decided to go with cloth... I can have custom leather seat covers made for less than $1000 with punched leather, multi-color stiching, and working airbags. Also, the cloth is cooler in summer and the seats hold you in better.

I have the punch leather on my MCS. They are very comfortable and of a high quality leather. Given the side bolsters, I can't imagine sliding around in them any more than in cloth. They might be hotter in summer, but I am counting on the hole punches to create a certain level of breathability. I thought they were a better deal than going with the lounge leather.
Yeah, I got them as well and they are very comfortable. They look great as well, only time will tell how well they stand up to wear and tear.
