Gotham Grey interior?

Anybody seen/have pixs of the grey interior... comes as an option w/cloth. I am wondering what the color of it is... my MA has not seen any yet!

I was at my MINI dealer today. They had both cloth and leatherette examples. The check is fairly subtle and charcoal. The leatherette looked extremely nice, certainly nicer than my 03 leatherette.

Gotham grey is the color for the sides of the doors, not the seats...

I ordered Gotham Grey...

I've no clue what I'm in for....

However I ordered because the exterior is in Astro Black, I thought the (Gotham) grey doors would be a sporty (if not sophisticated) contrast.

Interesting side note:
Standard dash color = Fine Line Silver. When you click Gotham Grey (door) interior on MINIUSA.com the dash color auto-defaults to a darker color, possibly Fluid Silver? When my dealer placed my order it forced an "extra" $200 charge for Fluid Silver (a no-cost feature) when he added Gotham Grey. The result = $200 waived however what color the dash (Fine Line or Fluid) will be a mystery until it arrives.

Cheers,

Yeah, I noticed that when I play with the configurator, the dash changes colors as soon as you hit the Gotham Grey option. If it went to Fluid Silver it would be really nice but I am a bit afraid to gamble till someone sees it in person!

I am getting a car in Lightning Blue/White so I thought a lighter interior would be a nice match.

From the MINI UK configurator ...

MINI has offered door panels in varyhing shades of grey before, all of which were lighter than above.

The standard Carbon Black door panels will hide scuff marks better

I have the "Light gray"door panels in my '02 MC. They give a nice constrast to the black/silver dash. But they do show up dirt more than the standard black door cards.

I have beige pannels now and don't find them a problem. I would like them to be the same color as the liner though, if not I don't think I will like them...

it looks like nobody's gotten them yet...

Mini Customer Service told me it is the color of the standard color light gray headliner.

That's good news for me, I ordered the Gotham Grey and that will cut down on the contrasts already in the interior, what with the black cloth seats, piano black dash face and darker grey dash and knee bolster. Hope it's true.
