Great color and stripes!

Just curious, since I ordered white turn signals and xenons. Did you get xenons and clear turn signals? Wasn't sure looking at the turn signal lens in the headlight.

The white turn signals don't have the yellow lenses in the xenons, at least they are not supposed to. You can still see a bit of yellow reflecting from the yellow bulb though. You might want to pick up some "BMW bulbs for clear turn signals" when you take delivery. They flash yellow but look sliver so they don't have the egg yolk effect. My dealer threw them in for free.

That is great advice. I wasn't sure since the lens in the photo looked orange. I'll ask about the BMW part # you provided. That is really helpful to complete the clear look.

That's a pretty nice freebee. I thought about getting some when I took delivery on Monday, but at $16 each I decided I'd just have fun driving my car for awhile first.

Wow! I didn't know they were that much.

I also got them to throw in a Glove Box Organizer, Sunshade, Floormats, Boot mat, and this:

I know it's not a picture of an R56, but it is a picture of my daughters 2007 MINI.

Yeah, I'll have to invest in some of those at some point because I did in fact order clear turn signals! For now though I'm just going to be content to drive it!

Hey kfisto, if you ordered clear turn signals, how come in the picture the xenon headlight has a big orange lens/lamp for the turn signal?

It's the angle of the shot, the bulb inside is orange, and shows through the clear lens.

gihsu, the front headlight on yours also looks like the turn signal has an orange lens covering it exactly like the pics above. If it were just an orange bulb, the whole lens wouldn't also look orange. I thought the white turn signals was only for the rear lights.

I think the anthracite headliner is some of the best money spent...it makes more of a difference at the A pillars (what you see when driving) when its blacked out you feel like your in a race care, and it looks soooo nice and fluid...when its the stock grey it looks like you car just isn't complete

i understand, just playing with you....

OK, white signal light option is for both front and rear.

without the option it looks like this

(sorry for linking to this image)

if you get the white signal light option, looking at it from directly in front you will still see orange because the bulb is orange.

change it to a silver vision bulb which looks silver but blinks orange, and you have something like this

Trust me, the lens is clear. The reflector pattern of the blinker does a really good job of reflecting, which is why it looks like the lens is orange.

The white turn signals is for front, back, and the sidemarkers.

Go here then scroll down a bit. I'm considering the Black/Pepper White Union Jack decal for my center stack. IMO, that area just looks so plain and almost cheap from the factory... Also gonna get the S replacement decals to further my partial black out.

AshleyKS, very nice MINI! I really like how personalized you've made it.
