Nice work...your car would look great with the M7 grills on the fog lights...the black would match your work...see my gallery for photo

Unless he has an aftermarket decal, that's the flash. Although it would be really cool if we could get one that lights up.

it is indeed just a reflection. I was not aware the red was reflective or maybe its just a freak coincidence of the light hitting it the right way

Now that is a hell of an idea... replace the stock piece that combines the S and side marker into one piece that lights up...
Anybody else think that would be sweet?

+1
How about having a side gill that the M3 or M5 has, so that hot air could escape in that area and also have the "S" light up

sarafil - sorry to hear about the first R56 getting totaled...hope your alright. which dealer did you get the second from? it looks like the one from around me - habberstad mini - but i guess all of them would potentially look identical, right?

got the 1st and 2nd from Inskip MINI in RI. Have purchased many BMWs from them over the years but their MINI store is new. So far, so good...

serves a different purpose... I think they're both fantastic cars. Over the years we have owned 3 different E46's ('99, '00 and '02) and currently have an E90 325xi. I'm a huge 3-series fan (have had at least one of each generation, from E21 up through E90) and I think that they are great. The MINI ranks higher in terms of "fun" factor, while it gives up something in terms of utility. I think the two are very similar in lots of aspects, and I think it's great to be able to have both if possible!

Hi Flaco! Good looking splitter...
My vinyl showed up last week and did the headlights, a bit challenging but turned out great.
Your car keeps getting better and better....

that is why our MINI is red, and why despite the fact I think BRG is a cool color I would never get a green car.
