My MCS does not display "SPORT" when you hit the sport button. Anyone know why?

 

What build week is your MINI??? I believe this change accompanied the cruise control in the tach display, updated door sills, and new 'gong' sound; all of which didn't show up until week 32 or so...

 

Mine was a 32 and I got all the things you mentioned.

 

Gong sound???

 

Gong sound = sound when you leave the key in the ignition and open the door. The newer models have a totally different sound now. Plus there is a 'Gong' setting now also.

 

If you're not driving satisfactorily, the panel Gongs you, and you're done.

 

That explains why I am sitting here

 

If my car isnt the BUILD 32 is there an "computer update" at all?

 

I would call the dealer and ask them.

 

+1. I've seen a lot of NAM members asking about the cruise control display especially. I can't imagine that it wouldn't be a simple software update.

It would look good with a dark navy blue stripe (8") going down off center - hood, roof, boot.

It may get a set of cobra style stripes, relatively wide, from the bottom of the front bumper to bottom of the rear.

That's just a illusion from the picture. If you look through the windshield at the passenger side front window, you'll see that's it's not that dark. I decided not to go that dark either this time. I have 35% all the way around. Much better at night.

When did they move the border?? The last time I checked, Portland was still in Oregon.
