Appreciate it! Here is another pic of the stripes and Laminex on the Headlights. Very lightly tinted.

This are the original MINI driving lights. These are available in black and chrome

how so? When i configure it on the mini website i only see an option for driving lights, and the image is chrome. I hate the chrome ones, but the black looks lovely

The MINI website is very slow to update new accessories.

So what's the word on the stage 1 kit? I haven't really read many reviews on it yet!
Thanks for the kind comments.

I'm still running the car in ( 650miles ish at mo ) but it revs a bit more freely and the demo i drove revved hard to red line.

As the miles rack up the exhaust noise / rasp seems to be deepening further and burbles nicely on really light throttle blips. Unfortunately you need the window down to hear this as it's still really muted from inside.

Boy them exhaust tips are HUGE

wow nice mike!

Ummm tasty Japper, Just an observation, the JCW badge position is on the lower right side of the grille. Of course one can put it where ever one wants and looks great!

minicoopergirl: your MINI looks sick! I love your stream on flickr.

Great color combos.

Thanks Diablito

Loads of debate on this one. The R53 had it on the right hand side of lower grill, but all official shots of the R56 show it where i've got mine. I prefer it here but if i had spots then would be forced to put them on lower.

Oh...I am debating about the place to put the badge, I saw the badge on the lower grille of the MINI Challenge, The bulletin instructions I think say the lower grille/right, but again I saw a laser blue like mine and now yours with the badge on the upper part...looks great anyway. Enjoy the POWER!

Yeah the racer is the only R56 i've seen on the lower. The dealer instructions was to place it as on mine. It can be placed pretty much anywhere on upper or lower grill to suit each owns taste.

I will enjoy the power...............as soon as i've finished the looooooooooooong 1250 miles

Yep you are right...
I just pulled the installation pages of the internet and it shows right where you have it!
and the rear hatch is 235 mm from the bottom edge and 35 mm on each side. Looks great anyway.

1250 miles?> I did those in one day hehehe.

Thanks! Once my dad saw how much fun I had in my MINI, he had to get one too! I just wish I had a JCW aero kit like his!

IMO that's one of the best looking MINIs on this board. All stealthy goodness. I assume your car is not lowered but for some reason the wheel gap is visually lesser. Again, looks great.

I know Flickr is some kinda rage thing but I'd really like to click your pics and get size huge.

Your car has convinced add similar blackness to mine, although it's gonna be PS, not Chili...

Thanks! No, it's not lowered, yet. I do plan on doing that though. PS blacked out would be awesome! I'm just not a big fan of chrome, so eventually, everything chrome on mine will be black, except for the emblems.

Yup. The black wheels make the car look 10 times more aggressive.

Sweet lookin!

What rims are those? I keep seeing them. Are they a standard mini rim?

And, is you stripe ripped, on the bottom left side?

Scooter in Hastings Nebr.

Here is a quick picture of Scooter after the Vintage races on Sunday in Hastings, Nebraska.

This was before he became real dirty on the drive back to Colorado on Monday. These folks were having a old car show and drive on Sunday. I really love the small mid-western towns. Good folks and fun cars.
