My Juno!

My husband and I had an R53 for about four years until yesterday when we traded it in for my new R56! Here is my Juno. I cannot wait to add some special touches to her.

So I installed the GP diffuser and strolled down to cars and coffee this morning... It's a lot more noticeable with the midnight black metallic than I though it would be. Really glad I bought this over the new F56, looks way better.

^ Yes works now! Very nice, I love pepper white. Pepper white was the color of my first MINI, was so easy to keep clean compared to black... haha.

2 ways

1) click the paper clip, it will open a separate page to browse your device to find a picture to upload, when it is done close that window and come back to the reply container and click the paper clip again. This time it should have your images that you uploaded as being selectable.

2) load your pictures to a hosting site like imgur, then directly link that page into the text.

Enjoyed about two weeks worth of SoCal sunshine and it was nice to drive the coop around with the sunroof open. Now my puppy and I are heading back to Seattle and we've got 1300+ miles to go!

Its overheating now while under heavy load. SF Mini it trying to figure out wtf going on but no codes are being thrown. Today the plan on pulling the thermostat and see if anything has melted which could be causing a blockage of some sort. I'm so mad at myself for not getting an extended warranty.....the car only has 28k miles on it and i figured i would roll the dice thinking I could handle what could possibly come up later on down the line. Little did I know that was a terrible idea.....:(

Here's whats gone on already:

1. Timing Chain was replaced 3 weeks ago (2nd time too, the first time it was replaced was at 3k miles)
2. Water Pump Pulley was also replaced then
3. The AC unit is making a weird whining noise that can only be heard when the stereo is turned off
4. There was an issue with the turbo, something about a heatshield missing (wtf?) that Mini USA replaced for free.
5. Now the damn thing is overheating :(

I'm already looking forward to getting rid of this car when I get the extra $$$

I have just started hearing a whining noise coming from where the serpentine belt is, I hope it's the friction wheel and not the AC. Does yours happen when cold outside or when warm?

That's just the "black headlamps" option from MINI ($100)..the way I ordered the car.
I suppose you could DIY it, but opening the headlights is not a simple mod.
