R56 Please post pictures of your R56 here...

I'm going to make a short vid on how to do everything and post it Ill be sure to link you
hey, what size wheel/tire setup are you running? looks sick!!
I vote keep the bra on! MINIs are meant to be unique and perhaps this is how the owner wants it to look. Keep on motoring
jtanoyo1, never in my life would those stripes ever adorn any Mini I would own. However, on opening the page and seeing them, I certainly did Oooh and Ahh over them. That's what's cool about Mini's. You can look and love someone elses even though it's not your own style. Yours takes boring common stripes and goes in a different direction, well done!
Those stripes were an inspiration from another guy who had his done reflecting the martini porsche club races. Those stripes got so famous some mini dealership over in UK actually copied it directly off of the guy without his permission and actually took the car on roadshow around the country.
So that was a little history background thre. Anyway, thanks for the comments, all of them.

Ummm thanks.
Thank you.
I don't have the money for a clear bra... Even with all the mild temps we've been having, the DOT still decides to spread a healthy amount of sand and rock salt on the roads over here. Bra will stay on till mid-March.

Someone else did mention the fact that bras tend to hold grit and moisture. I'd keep an eye on it (under it). I remember years ago having one on a 1969 VW bug and it pretty much ruined my paint. I'm sure they have improved on them today but I'd still check it out. Put lots of coats of wax down.

I think I wash mine like 2-3 times a week. haha. Gotta keep it clean.
Riiiiiigggghht!
That's probably required activity for those living in SoCal, but those of us other parts of the country not so much, especially this time of year with grey rainy days or worse yet frozen precipitation and the need for lots of salt and sand. We learn to live with the grime and wash on the occasional nice day - and hope it will last a day or two.
I hope you wash your car more than once every 2 weeks :P

Yea, nothing quite kills the high of seeing your hard work returned in a shining beauty of an automobile quite like pulling out on the road and having every car in front of you sling nastiness from the slush all over your pride and joy. That only happens a couple of times before you fall into the pit of despair and toss in the towel and wish for a 50 degree day.
Hi guys,
Yes, it's a tribute to the old Martini Porsche from yesteryears. Some guy called Rob already did it to his Mini back in the UK and I would like to take this opportunity to give him kudos for inspiring me to do the same.
Here's a picture from today after installing Akrapovic turbo back exhaust, KW coilovers and 17" BBS forged wheels.
