Agreed, I thought the 2" would be the best size and now that I've seen yours I'm convinced. They look great on your car, especially how the silver matches your paint.
it is the new SARIS Granfondo rack. works really well.
the straps for the top of the hatch i hook onto the baby seat hooks at bottom of trunk. the cool thing is that the plate is not covered and you do not have anything covering the window view
Ugh... next time call / PM me for those things like that.
Could have save your money, time and headache...

Well I will in the future. But I wasn't in 5280 when I picked up the car and hadn't posted that much. We live and we learn. Wish it didn't cost so much. .
I got them done before I picked up the car. Hate to say it but when I questioned Devon of Schump about why so much to change them. He said that it takes some time to remove the old ones and install the new ones. Well I guess that I should be happy they didn't charge me to put on the UJ valve caps or the UJ plate frames.
Still burns me. A bit disappointed in Devon for that.
Yes, another Sparkling Silver. Congrats. I love mine and I'm sure you'll love yours.
FYI
*check oil frequently as well as coolant level in overflow bottle.
*is that an 07? Has the timing chain been replaced?
*have Sewell print you out a worksheet of all that's been done to it if they haven't already that way you know all that's been done to it.
At least if an auth. Mini dealership worked on it.
Other than that, enjoy it.

Would you mind PMing me some close ups of the connections and such?

Thank you drsimmons. It's an '08. It's actually in right now, having the timing chain done. Sewell has been stellar. They've worked the sunroof rattle, replaced the windscreen. It test drove it in the wet, and did notice until it was a dry day, that it looked like it had been sand blasted. They replaced the auxiliary water pump (recall issue I believe) without me saying a word. I just happened to notice it on the service paperwork. They noticed a "service front brakes" indicator when they did a diagnostic on it, and replaced the sensor, and did the front brakes. It's still under warranty until May so, I want to make sure everything is squared away.
The tires are the same size as the OEM runflats that came on my car.
The tire almost blends in with the wheels in the picture. They really aren't that big looking.
Don't mind the Europlate, its just a joke I have with my friend from the movie Stepbrothers. Coilovers are on their way to get rid of the remaining wheelgap, and I'm custom cutting the lower grill to hide the nonsense on each side of the fmic.
