It connects the valley of the Rhone River in the canton of Valais and the Haslital (upper valley of the Aar river) in the canton of Bern.
It is located near the source of the Rhone at the Rhone Glacier. Also in the area is the Grimsel Test Site, used for research into underground radioactive waste disposal.
That last sentence sounds scary!

Took my new MINI out on the track today! We spent the day at Infineon Raceway, it was an absolute BLAST. I'm used to driving corvettes, so this sure was different!

Theres a bunch of different companies, we run with a company called Hooked On Driving. They are starting to franchise all over the U.S. but they started out here in NorCal. GREAT people, and a great company, very family friendly. They start you out in group A and they provide coaches that show you the track, and teach you how to drive and handle your car. As you get better you move up in groups. Really great group, and highly recommended! I've been doing it since I turned 16, teaches you about how to handle your car and how it will react under certain driving conditions. I've done all kinds of skid pad exercises, run on track in the rain and it is really a great experience. I feel like I am a much safer driver and much more prepared driving on the street.
