My first MINI Mod....I bought an OEM roof rack and Thule Cascade cargo box. I need it for a weekend trip to NH for a car cruise. I'm excited. Ignore the bungie cords...they're only a temporary thing to get the box home.

I know it's not much, but it makes me happy.
Now I only have like 22 other things on my Mini To-Do List.

Lovely MCSs
Thoroughly enjoying the thread. Long time lurker, finally, might take a bold step in getting my own. Reading, knowing a bit more about these beautiful machines. Any TDI owners, also Mini owners here?
Too many choices to decide from

If you do accidentally touch the roof once the attachment point is inserted into the holes, the rack has rubber so it won't scratch easily.

( it is a great picture though, wish I could get mine to turn out as nice, but their appears to be a disconnect between minds eye and camera!)
It doesn't touch. The rack fits into holes that are pre-made under the weather stripping. You slide a credit-card into the weather stripping and find the premade holes; then the rubber is proferated so you just rip off a little section that you need to expose the holes for the rack. Then carefully, (with 2 people and a towel to protect the paint) you tighten the rack down into the holes.

Mini Cooper "D" Spice Orange 2011 with JCW packet ....
I'm from Belgium ,22 & New in this forum!! Your Minis are so beautiful compared to what we see here!!! We're ridiculous.... but what do you think of mine?

Trust me all of us over on this side of the pond have DIESEL envy. I so wish we could get our hand on a diesel MINI here in the USA!!!
Love the pics and think the color combo + JCW kit looks awesome.

Really like the overall look of your car, and like the contrasting tow hook...nice touch.
Thankssss !
I have KW sport suspensions in my garage ... I hope the snow will not come too soon ...
I also think to "dechrome" it...
It's crazy because here in Belgium, you never see Cooper S or Cooper.... ... We all dream to have one! We have so many taxes in this country that seem totally crazy to buy a Cooper S or JCW ( +- 3,400 $ just to put the car on the road, & 332/year for a Cooper S, a JCW ) Everybody drives a "One" Diesel or Cooper Diesel...
