Well I cleaned up Falvius this last weekend. Here are some pics I took. I really need to take a buddy of mine who has a nice DSLR downtown for some better pics.

 

Really digging the new look of the 2011 wheels, they have a good line up. BRG thats the color i originally wanted!

Thanks for all the compliments. I was really not sure what color to get. It all came down to two that the dealer could get, mine and a Red/white one. Really did not like the Red/White combo so I went with the BRG.

Its really turned out well, especially with the St. Andrews on the roof. It gets lots of attention to say the least!

That looks really blue compared to what I have seen at the dealer. I really like it.

It's a bit creepy when you need to take 9 shots at variable exposures (some taking 30 sec+) and you're by yourself in an abandoned garage in downtown Oakland...especially when people come up from behind you out of the shadows. Good times.

 

Awesome backdrop and yes, a bit scary!!! Great pictures.

Well, we've finally traded in the Green Hornet, our beloved 07 Cooper R56 BRG for "Miss Scarlet", our new MCS.

The factory "V" stripes have been removed and replaced with a single stripe down the middle and all the windows darkened with 35%.

Here she is....

Checking in with my 07 MCS... just picked her up a few weeks ago, looking forward to lowering, tinting, new wheels...etc etc etc

If anyone has any advice on any shops to get these services done in the San Jose area it would be greatly appreciated

 

What level tint are ya going? We have 35% on ours and we don't get much bother from the police and it's still light enough to see out at night.

That looks really sharp with the painted trim. It does make the grills look a bit undersized, I'd probably get the JCW grill w/ the black surround just to match the proportions a bit better. I wouldn't go so far as to start blacking out all the chrome, the chrome headlight rings blend in with the pepper white quite nicely.

 

Hey thanks man! You are spot on - I've already signed up with Lyle to black out a bunch of stuff on my car in April when he visits NY.

 

Here's Enzo at a far-from-civilization power plant just after you go by the Miami-Dade Detention Center.... so not the place you want to be at 1 am! but i went with a friend (who took the pics) so it wasn't that bad!

Btw the MINI is perfectly capable of some light off-roading!
