Small Photoshoot

I got Suki about 2 weeks ago and finally stopped motoring long enough to get some glamor shots of her .

Oh that is so sexy! Definitely making me second guess my decision to get mine in DS/DS... for me it was that I loved the PW only when with rims and stripes but I like DS 'plain' vanilla stock. But like this?.... Absolutely love your decision on colors for the car, stripes and rims!

Nice wheels indeed ichy600; what are they!? They look like Exel TZ-10 [Yokohama knock-off] however they look to have a single 4x100 bolt pattern, so I'm a bit confused as to their exact brand.

Onslow is here!

My (awesome) MA at Bill Jacobs MINI, Jon DiNapoli, e-mailed me this afternoon that the car was dropped off the truck today! I raced over with my wife after work to jump in, look around, and get acquainted for a good 90 minutes! Was even able to take some photos before they took the wrappers off of the seats and the shipping blocks out of the suspension (check out that gap!). Sport stripes will go on some time next week; nice to see it without them, too!

Left the ol' boy behind for tonight, but will pick it up after work on Thursday, and take Friday off to MOTOR ALL DAY LONG!!!!!

Welcome, Onslow!

PS: Last photo was an old Clubman that the dealership had "on loan" from a collector. Very cool, and still in the box!

Look over at the "Tires, Wheels, & Brakes" forum and all will be revealed about ichy's wheels!

Congrats on your new arrival!Just be sure to have the dealer put a MINI badge on Onslow's engine because it looks like the factory forgot to.Motor On!

Mine's is missing the Mini badge on the engine too. Guess they stopped putting them on at some point.

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the JCW front end and where did you get? I really like the JCW front but think the JCW rear is funky ugly and the side skirts are unnecessary. And 2+ grand for the whole kit is too much for a couple things I'd rather not have. Just happens that the JCW front end is awesome.

Thanks, Oxy! I thought that something looked like it was missing when I popped the bonnet, but it wasn't the MINI badge.

I've got it on my short list for the dealer (rubber floor mats are the other thing).

It's on 18" Lenso alloys.

Does the Diesel have a 7.5 gallon tank? Or perhaps a miscalculation on mpg? Nice looking ride though, the black rims match the color scheme really well.

Gallons, Liters and Gallons.

It could be Imperial Gallons, Brits get five Quarts in a Gallon,
or Ten Imp. Gallons in a full MINI Tank. (55 mpg imp. = 44 mpg US)

ichy600: THAT is perfect! I just found a new desktop wallpaper picture!

cutters68: Can't see any pics; but if that's yours in your sig, that's a great color combination and i LOVE the stripes. I'm seriously considering those for my R53, and that's the first black MINI i've seen with those stripes.

Is this the original sport suspension or did you modify it?
