My MA called yesterday to confirm my sport stripes and to say that it would be here tomorrow (saturday) at the soonest. But that was yesterday... With my luck it's already there now and he just hasn't called yet... I guess I'll give him a call just to see

 

It's difficult who to believe. The Owners Lounge says expected delivery April 9. My MA says 12-13. I don't know who to believe. Perhaps someone will have a clearer view that me.

So I would've asked my MA about my Mini's status... but he took a day off today... I don;t have time to go down and check to see if it's there myself unless I knew for a fact that it was there... I think I'll jsut go to sleep now and wake up tomorrow ready for my Mini

 

Thanks picked it up about 5:00 today. Just got home, been driving it around. Trying to get it broken in. I love it! I will take pictures tomorrow!

 

Louie, judging by the way my car came suddenly, it seems that nobody really knows the exact time frame of the arrival.
I find it rather strange that we're getting different information all around the board. Good Luck Loui...and sit tight! It'll come by surprise.

MA just called to know if I wanted the stripes put on before I pick it up or pick it up then come back for the stripes. I said we'd pick it up when it's done...

So my stripes can't be put on until tomorrow, but my MA said I could pick it up and take it home today and come back for the stripes tomorrow...
So I'm gonna go pick it up now!!!!

I picked mine up earlier! I've been smiling looking at it all day! I have to go back tomorrow to get my stripes put on so I'll post the pics tomorrow night when I take more of them.
It's even more beautiful when it's sitting right outside!

OL says my expected delivery date was 03/31 as of today I am still waiting for my Mini to arrive at the dealer (apparently they are waiting for the truck to fully load). So I will say your MA knows best.

 

Well, the Owners Lounge was correct with an arrival date of April 9,2007, and not on April 12,2007 as my MA said. Perhaps, its a psychological ploy.

 

The Owner's Lounge says my car, which was unloaded at the Port Hueneme VDC on April 1st, is still en route??? MA is off work today, so I don't know what is going on...

Mine must have been in the back of the cargo hold - MA says it should be processed by the VDC today, and expected at the dealer (South Bay in Torrance, CA) in a couple of days. Obviously there are a lot of cars at the VDC.

 

The Owner's Lounge leaves much to be desired. In the beginning it showed my car to be Pure Silver when in reality it was Sparkling Silver. This persisted for about a week before it reflected the exact specs. From here on the accuracy was spotty. It said waiting at the port for over three weeks even though it was at see and passing through the Panama Canal on its way to Port Hueneme. Next came the VDC which is where it sat for ten days. Suddenly, on April 7 it changed to due at the dealer on April 8. This is my second MINI and its time that MINI upgraded its software to reflect a more real time experience.

 

OL and dealer's computer info still says my car is en route, but MA says it just showed up at the dealer

I pick up my Sparkling Silver MCS tomorrow morning. The total wait time is Feb 6 until April 11. Not bad. However, I put my deposit down fourteen months ago, such is the demand for MINIs in the Pacific Northwest. This is good for trades and keeps your residuals strong. Dealership is more than doubling in size with a dozen service bays. Northwest MINI original business plan has been suplanted with MINI Madness!

 

Cars are trickling into the dealer from Week 8. I was one of the first with comfort access.
