Now how the heck did you get yours on a different ship? We both ordered and began production on the same days... Is it 'cause your ship only has east coast minis and ours has west coast only? That seems strange if true...

That is the only reason I can think of. Seems strange to me too, but if that is the case then you and the other west coast folks will get your cars sooner. You wont have to wait for ours to get unloaded. So I guess you could say that is a good thing...

 

Well, Guapo, in theory we would get ours sooner if our ship only carries West Coast Minis, but the WW2 site says for the Trianon's scedule that it is still stopping off at Brunswick, GA before Panama and eventually Port Hueneme. I'm still confused...
ehh.. it's not a terribly big deal; Regardless of the reason, my mini is still arriving the 29th

 

The Port of Brunswick, Ga has a vehicle processing center. However, I'm not sure whether they are BMW's or what? The Trianon has a capactiy of 6,000 cars so it could be carrying other German cars as well given that it stopped in Bremerhaven.

 

Trianon arrives in Gorgia tomorrow.

Well manilaRice departed Brunswick, Ga now to Panama then to PORT HUENEME, CA U.S.A. Time Flys!

 

I'm so excited! Gahhhhhhh why not nowwwwwww??!?!?! Oh well the wait will make its arrival even better

 

BTW, do any of you know how long Minis stay (on average) at the VDC in Port Hueneme?

The shipping company is now giving an ETA in California on the 31st and is saying that it arrives in Georgia today.

 

my mini's on the Trianon as well. Supposed to reach Port Hueneme on March 29th. Here's the website I went on to track my car. All the info was given to me by my MA.

I think the voyage # is ED709 if your car is on that particular ship.

You can select "schedule" and enter the voyage # to find out the schedule of the ship.

You can also select Auto Cargo and enter your VIN# to locate your car.

Talked to my MA yesterday, my MINI was loaded on a truck yesterday and is schedueld to arrive at the dealer Friday, said it could be sooner...

I cant take the wait....

 

Found out my week 8 Mini got loaded early and is on the Falstaff which is arriving at PORT HUENEME, CA today! This is a nice surprise.

 

I love my mini!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

There are webcam shots along the Panama Canal as well as a ship booking site to follow the Trianon but I can't seem to get into the the latter. If anyone figures it out let us kinow?

 

AHHHHHH COME ONNNNNN!!!! first it was the 28th, then it moved to the 29th, now its the 31st?!?! gahhHH!!!!!! Even though it'll arrive then, it still has to spend a few days at the VDC before it goes to my dealer where it has to get its stripes!! This is so painfull...

 

It will be interesting to see how long the cars are being held at the vehicle distribution center.

 

Should be passing through the Panama Canal sometime in the next 24 hrs before stopping at MANZANILLO, Panama.

Damnit, Trianon delayed another day - to arrive april 1st, sunday: which means thers no chance of it even getting to the VDC until monday. Oh bother...

 

Some other posts have said that the VDC only works M-F.
