Who has placed an order for the MC and then updated their order, but the changed requested was not accepted by MINI and you received your original order?

Or only part of the changes were accepted and got a 50/50 on what you really wanted?

Or any mixture of the above in regards to updating your order and not being happy with the out come. What kind of impact did that have?

Just curious on experience with updates on your 'custom' MC.

 

I updated several times before production. I'm sure my dealer was becoming very frustrated with me. But every single time it was done and done right.

Thank you for putting up with me Michael. Sorry I I've been such a pain in the neck. Thank you too for putting up with all my follow-up calls (I do that with everything thus don't often experience the scenario noted above).

 

if you call the askmini #, do they have the design specs?

 

noone here (in the US) has recieved their ordered 07 yet.
I ordered and made changes up till the cut-of (production)
AskMINI has confirmed all my changes.
The only reason I can think of that your MA would not "accept" a change is if it was on the line already or finished. Even so if you have changed your mind you do not have to accept the car -- you are not stuck with it. Somehow I would imagine your MA would have NO problem selling it. Mine has said if I change my mind upon delivery he'll have no problem selling it so it's not like you've ordered an unpopular car with unpopular options -- someone will want it. Just look at how rabid we are waiting to get in one.

 

I think im happy with my selection, the only thing i would add would be a black headliner and piano black inside, but i dont think its worth the beans.
