Just ordered yesterday! She's going to be Chili Red with white roof, white bonnet stripes, fluid silver interior, sunroof, Premium, Sport, and Cold Weather packages, LSD, Arm Rest, British flag mirrors, and a dealer freebie--carpet floor mats.

We ordered from MINI of The Woodlands, Houston, and our MA is Art Bernhardt. He was very patient as we waded through the process of going from a used MINI to an '06, to a final decision of an '07!

This is the third MINI to join our extended family--my daughter and son-in-law each have one. I've followed MINIs since they were Minis, so I guess that gives you an idea of my age, and I was delighted to see my daughter, Michelle Colvard, get one a couple of years ago. Perhaps some of you in the Houston area know her? My son-in-law is Brian Colvard.

At any rate, it's going to be a long wait for my birthday-and-Christmas-combined-for-the-next-ten-years present!

When is it suppose to arrive?

 

Our MA says mid to end of February. We had this kind of wait for a BMW several years ago, but I wasn't nearly as "attached" to it!

I love red MINIs--we could find red/white/sunroof but only in automatic, and we could find red/white/6 speed but without sunroof. Oh well, this way we get to pick our options, and we get the '07. There are some changes in the new models that sound like good ideas.

bought my 2006 from Art....he hung back till I needed him..that was great...and he's very relaxed...will see him again...well in a couple years anyway.
