According to MINI, the 'S' doesn't translate to nessesarily mean 'superchraged'... No one really knows what it actually designates (at least thats MINI's line). Some say 'sport', some say 'special'...

It was completely logical to think it would mean "Supercharged".

I'm still not 100% sure about it. But.. I kinda like it, although I could do without the useless hood scoop and the h/u display inside the speedo. I'll have to wait till I see it in person but I might have to trade in my '02 for an '08, because I will not get the 1st year model again lol.

Mix Bag

I'm not too sure about this one. Big bland looking air controls, non-functioning hood scoop, radio in wrong place. Basically all the big problems are in the center dash of the car. Everything else is pretty much ok. The Hood scoop though is something I almost cannot believe.

Currently, this makes my '05 Mini much more special to me. I may hold onto it for a long while if the 2nd gen Mini does not turn out as good as I want it to be.
