R56 Best source for OEM color paint?
What's a final wipe?
1500 grit wet. May have some if not will but at AutoZone.. Hate that place.
I'll watch a bunch of videos. If you like any in particular send them my way.
You rock Velcross.

Final wipe is essentially wax and grease remover
but, it’s a bit milder.
I had an issue with paint reacting with the wax and grease remover (it appeared to curdle the paint like sour milk) I had used in preparation for paint.
I took my concern to local auto paint store, he pulled out a 3.78 litre jug of final wipe (several brands out there) and told me to use that instead of wax and grease remover. He was right, I’ve never had a problem since. It flashes off really fast.
final wipe (use the web to see what’s out there or visit the paint store, those folks are always crazy helpful and most are really knowledgeable), let it flash dry (instructions will be on the jug). Last step before paint, a new tack cloth over the surface for any last small particles, then let it rip.

don’t touch the wet paint, wait a day to wet sand and polish out any imperfections.
remember it’s going to
a) look 100% better than it does right now
b) only you will see any imperfections. If the colour is the same, no one will notice it.
if you don’t get it to your satisfaction, it’s just paint, not concrete work, you can always do it over.
for simple newbie cut/polish
look for Meguiars M105 and M205 (can usually be found on jungle wed site)
use 4” pads (for beginners, best pad to use on the hood) on variable speed drill
go slow and maybe run a small bead of masking tape along the edges. That’s where paint is at its thinnest and to much pressure can burn through the paint.
Just the pad slow and moving
