Clunk after Coilover Install

Hi all,

I’ve got a 2012 mini cooper base. I just slapped some Godspeed Mono SS coil overs on all 4 corners, and I’ve got a clunk in the rear and the front.

Starting with the rear clunk, it comes from both sides. It’s almost constant, and is not metal to metal, but sounds dull. Sounds like something is vibrating against the frame back and forth. I checked all the bolts, all are good. Checked sway bar links, also good, and same with the body of the coil overs. Nothing I see is rubbing, so I’m at a real loss here

For the fronts, it seems like in the middle, drivers side. It’s only big bumps, and it feels like something is knocking together right by my feet as I drive. I had a bit of tire rub, but I fixed that. Nothing else appears to rub. This sound is a bit more metal on metal, and is a thunk.

this is driving me crazy. I figured y’all would have some ideas. Thank you!

@james_powers24 ,

You need to check your sway-bar bolts and bushings for its tightness as well as conditions.
