2008 R56 Driver Window Issues (anti-trap) Error
When I open either door of my 2008 R56 the driver window goes all the way down. If I try to roll it up it only goes an inch or so at a time, so it requires pushing the button multiple times. Once it is up and I want it down I have to push it multiple times to get it back down. The console is showing an "anti-trap" error. So far I have been unsuccessful figuring out the issue. Hopefully someone on here can be of some help. Thanks
@Bleepmini ,
Try these steps, hopefully this would work:

Detailed Steps for Resetting Power Windows (R56 and similar models):
- Open the driver's door.
- Lower the window fully.
- Hold the down button for at least 5 seconds (or 10 seconds as some sources suggest).
- Raise the window fully.
- Hold the up button for at least 5 seconds (or 10 seconds as some sources suggest).
- Open and close the door. This may be necessary to activate the automatic drop feature.
- Test the window operation.
Additional Notes:
- Door Open/Close:
The automatic window drop feature (where the window partially lowers when the door is opened) may need to be re-enabled after resetting, which can be done by opening and closing the door. - Ignition:
Some sources suggest turning the ignition to the "Run" position (key in position 1) before resetting. - Troubleshooting:
If the window doesn't fully close or auto-drop, you may need to manually adjust the window regulator or install a bump stop, according to some Reddit users. - Safety:
Always ensure the window is fully closed before driving, especially in cold weather to prevent ice accumulation on the glass.
Try the reset procedure above first. If that doesn't work the door or window may be misaligned, causing too much friction from the rubber seals and tripping the anti-pinch.
You can test for this by lubing the rubber seals with silicone: if that improves things then you may need to adjust the door or window. The door close is adjusted by moving the latch on the body in and out, and the window angle is adjusted by loosening two screws on the bottom of the door (hidden under rubber plugs). Rule out all other stuff before you mess with this, though, as it can take some tweaking and expertise to get the alignment right and you don't want to mess it up if it's not your issue.

I tried various methods to recalibrate, but alas nothing worked. I did however borrow a scanner with BMW specific codes and it turned up a 9CC7 code. I was having trouble pinpointing exactly where to go from here. Any advice would be great, thanks!
