'08 Cooper - windows tab switching

OOPS...sorry I think it was bad English. My question was auto-up windows. I am going to re-write again. I know that 2007 Cooper has not an auto-up windows for the passenger and I am wondering about 2008 Cooper. Does 2008 Cooper has an auto-up passenger's window?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks russr, and what about the passenger's side window? It was my curiosity.

I may be mistaken, but I believe the passenger's side does NOT have auto-up.

I wonder if MINI will add that as an ECU update to the 2007's ... I hope so

I have a first week build 2008 and it has auto up and down on the driver and passenger side. I thought it wasn't working intermittently and the dealer explained that the auto up only works when the door is closed.

You guys are sure about the passenger's side? I could have sworn it doesn't work on the passenger's side even with door closed.

Mine has auto up and down on both the passenger and drivers side - assuming the door is closed

Awesome! Thanks guys, I didn't know it was on the passenger's side too. I'm picking up my '08 next week!

i want that and the USB port... but it would have cost 1200 more for a similarly spec'd 08. Darn shifting of package options as well as a general price increase per option.

you might have to reset your passenger side window by holding the up 5 sec and down 5 sec.

It will never happen. The 07 doesn't have the sensor needed to keep someone from getting trapped/pinched. MINIUSA has already given an official word on it.

Who is this aimed at? I didn't see anyone having issues with their window.

Thanks for in the info... too bad, I would have paid for the ECU update just for that :(

I asked my SA about this two weeks ago, and he's escalated it up the chain. I'm guessing either the answer's no, or he's forgotten.
