Bump steer after some work

I installed new control arms and bushing and driver CV joint. Now when driving the car it periodically jumps left or right randomly. Not during acceleration/deceleration. The steering wheel is turned left maybe 5 degrees to go straight and it seems to have a slight touch of slop that I don’t remember being there before. I haven’t gotten it back on the lift to check bolts. My guess is something is loose. I’m on a trip so thought I’d post this to see if anyone had other thoughts. Both steering knuckles were detached and I dropped the subframe for the repair.

Did you get an alignment performed after the work? Dropping the subframe, replacing control arms and bushings, and replacing a driveshaft... your alignment is surely off.

Thanks. I didn’t. When I get back, I’ll jack it up and check if the wheels wobble. I suspect something’s loose. Then off for alignment

Closing this out. The last guy who bolted it all together didn't fully tighten the nut on the tie rod to the steering knuckle. What an idiot!! When I (ummm, he) tightened it, there must've been some back pressure to keep it from tightening all the way.

I jacked the car up and was easily able to wobble the wheel. Quick fix and back on the road...
