Clear or Bypass Brake Warning?

From this thread:
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...nd-brakes.html

I just picked up a R57, one of the to-do items is to clear the brake wear warning in the tach.
Car has new pads & rotors, and the brake wear sensor was replaced.

Tried the below process, but cannot get it into svc mode to clear it.

I can get up to step 7, but it doesn't go to step 8.
If I do step 9, it just does the light check [step 7] again, can't get any further.

Am i missing something here?
Or, is there a way to bypass the brake sensor to clear the light, so I can get it to pass state inspection?

Disregard, got it. The above says to press both tach buttons.
Found another guide that says trip 0.0 & BC, that did the trick
