Many error codes after head gasket and timing chain replacement

Hi,
I followed instructions and replaced head gasket and time chain. I also ground the valve seats. After installing everything back, the car starts and sounds good. The problem is that now it has check engine sign. Also, as soon as I put the key in, the windshield wipers work. When scanning with Creator C310+, I get the following errors:
SGM-ZGM
EPS
ABS
SRS
TCM
CAS
SHD
IC
FRM
AC
CD
CD-GW
ECM
I drove the car 500 meters with no problem (other than the windshield wipers). I erased the codes but they keep coming back. What should I do to get rid of these codes.
Thanks

Well that's bizarre. You only did mechanical work and now seem to have an electrical problem. I would slowly and carefully check for unplugged electrical connections. A lot of cable harness wind up at the big electrical junction box. The cover pops off, and underneath are large square plugs that have a cam latch that opens them. Common to unlatch them to get more of the wire harness out of the way. I'd check and make sure those are all well seated. On my car, on the timing chain side, there was a large braided ground strap running from the cylinder head to the frame, did that get put back on if you have it?

I got another scanner and all the errors are related to the szl. The strange part is when I try to connect to the szl, it does not connect (in both scanners). It asks me to switch the car on, check the battery, connect the scanner, etc. it just can’t find the szl!
is there a fuse or relay for the szl?
if I have to replace parts, do I replace the sas (steering angle sensor) or I have to replace the szl (the whole cluster)?

thanks,

Hi,

I replaced the SZL with used one (matching number) and the steering angle is correct, windshield wipers and lights are working too. The problem I’m having is that the left signal doesn’t work! Also, I get error for the DSC (mainly not calibrated). I have not taken it to Mini shop for coding yet and I’m trying to calibrating with my scanner but not working.

Would coding the new szl solve the problem?

The appointment I got is 10 days away. Is there a way to activate the left signal until then.

thanks
