MINI Novice
Hello!
Just bought my first MINI, a 2010 MCS automatic. (Don't mock me! My daughter is going to drive it a good bit and my wife doesn't want her to drive a stick. So there!)
The car has 88,000 miles on it and was cheap because it is missing the front bumper and needs the timing chain replaced. As a reasonably decent hand with a wrench, I puffed out my chest and took on the challenge. Best way to get to know your car, right? Um...right, guys? I will definitely be hitting ALL of you up for tips, tricks, instructions, wisdom, and enthusiastic encouragement when I'm just about to give up.
I am in the St. Louis, Missouri area, so if anyone is brave enough to tell me there are from around here and know MINIs, please please please HELP! I'm a nice guy, really I am! I have beer! And I make killer ribs! Both of which I would be happy to share with a kind soul who took pity on my misfortune. If your time is money, well, maybe we can work that out, too.
