Does anyone know which wire is the reverse wire on the tail light harness? (this is the right tail)

Second question, is it possible to wire a rocker switch to the battery and also to same red wire that is tapped into the reverse wire so that I can turn the camera on whenever I like. Or would that cause the reverse lights to turn on also?

 

I don't remember but, I had to use a relay and power the backup camera from my rear power port. The reverse light wire "actuates" the relay and the power port supplies the camera power. Without it, the camera worked fine when not running. When you started the car, the camera flickered.
