Trailer wiring type

Before moving forward wiring my R50 base hatchback, I am wondering if there is a definitive answer to what kind if wiring do I have? Is it "2 wire," "3 wire," "PWM-ST," or "PWM-STT?" The harness seems unusual to me because the wire I would identify as the tail light has constant 10 volts going through it, and 12 when the tail lights are on. TIA

I may have figured out the wiring, will see. I measured tail light voltage while the wire was disconnected from the light. When connected, it performs as expected.

Wiring solved. I used a Curt Powered Multi-Function Taillight Converter Wiring Kit 59236 purchased for $38 on Ebay. I couldn't make heads or tails of the instructions so I did my best. The converter box sticker was more helpful than the 4 page instructions. When I was done, the trailer lights did not work at all, although when unplugged from the trailer the converter put out the proper voltage for all functions except the tail light - no output. I found minimal specific explanation anywhere on the net, but the most helpful information was from this forum. There was a thread about 2-3 years old and I tried what a member "Fastlane" had posted in the Second Generation Forum. Instead of tapping the tail light wire at the rear light which did not work as expected, ".........I tapped the wire that goes down to the little amber light in the back passenger wheel well. The wire runs right down through the back compartment on the passenger side where I put my light convertor." That is all that I needed to do to get all lights to work properly. I don't know why it worked, I don't care, just glad it's done. My trailer brake lights are working fine, they tapped into the wire going to the rear brake light. I point this out because Fastlane stated in his post, "For the stop function, I ran a wire up to where the LED stop light is above the rear window. There may be (and probably is) a wire in that right side compartment that goes up there to feed it, but I did not find it and chose to run the wire behind the boot trim up to where the wire goes from the boot hatch to the car." I did not need to do this, though. The wires going up to the third brake light that Fastlane referred to are on the driver's side on my R50. Glad I did not need to mess with that think bundle wires.
