Cravenspeed automatic shift ****
Ended up needing a different part in the kit, cravenspeed customer support reached out and shipped me the new part.
Hopefully I update this post with successful results!
New part arrived and fit like a glove, shifter works great.

It looks like the top of the shifter shaft is a little ruff........try cleaning it up and see if the shift **** fit's smoothly....
Then repeat the install steps and rotate the shift collar to line up with the holes and install the screws....

I'm also seeing that per the install guide they have the car in neutral when installing the shift rod......
What gear are you trying to install the shift rod in maybe any other gear doesn't allow the rod to be
seated any lower at the correct depth.......
