New member, new owner and very excited- this question relates to a 20223 John Cooper 2 door hatch:

I am trying to power a radar detector through the mirror power. The attached photo is of the main connector
in the mirror. I assume that the red wire is a switched hot but I have no idea which wire is the ground.

Any help would be appreciated!

Likely brown, but if you can get ahold of wiring diagrams that would tell you for sure.

If for any reason brown wire is not the ground, you can always make your own ground by attaching the ground wire anywhere on the car’s body.
