Sort of related question… no way to drop the rear subframe without disconnecting brake lines, eh??

If you already have all that, then why are you asking about increasing NVH with the control arm bushings?!

If you are lowering the rear subframe to install a rear sway bar, then you only have to disconnect the sway bar end links. Shouldn't have to touch the rear brake lines. If you want to pull the rear subframe from the car, then you will have to disconnect everything.

I didn't think it was a horrible job. Good thing too, as I have to replace all the rear bushings on the other car this summer

I've had inner ball joint come out of the control arm 2 times, passenger side on both ocassions. It caused a clunking which pretty hard to diagnose because the joint was not totally pushed out.

I didnt even think they could be R&R'd from the control arm. I thought about welding the balljoint into the control arm...
