I’ve tried searching the forums, but wasn’t successful so here we go. I have a rear sensor hatch open warning light that keeps coming on. I’ve replaced both the release latch on the lift gate and the latch on the trunk floor. Any other suggestions to make the phantom warning light to go away? Thanks!!

 

Since you didn’t mention anything about the “stop buffer”, try rotating the stop buffer to allow the liftgate fully close. There’s one on both sides.

 

@Vanski , I didn’t consider that as a potential solution, so I appreciate the idea. That for some reason never crossed my mind. I will try that and see what happens! Thanks!!
