2009 MCS Smoke help

So I picked up a 2009 mcs with 140k on it about a month ago. Drove it about 200 miles home and another few hundred around town with no issues except for a light vibration when braking, looks like it needs new rotors. No biggie. Pulling it into the lower garage it dripped some oil so I put it on stands and got to work.

Long story short I pulled everything apart and replaced the following
-front crank seal
-heat exchanger gaskets
-oil filter housing gaskets/seals
-installed a new vacuum pump
-installed noise maker delete hose
-installed matching intercooler resonator delete hose

Obviously I did an oil/filter change and coolant change while doing all of this.

I have not noticed any leaks since doing the work but I’ve only put about ~200 miles on it since. When I had the down pipe and intake off the turbo did not seem to have any play or signs of oil

Now for the issue. Today I took it for a rip and a few errands. After about an hour of driving and a few stops I was parked with the car idling for about 30 minutes. When I went to leave the lot I pushed the sport mode button and went to take off as I did this I noticed the car was smoking pretty good from the exhaust. It left quite the cloud of what looked like blue smoke and continued smoking a bit until I got on the highway. The smoke went away and I didn’t notice it anymore on the drive home. Parked in the garage and gave it a small rev and it puffed a little smoke.

Before I go crazy thinking about what this may be or spend another 5 hours going through the forum for answers. Does anyone have input on where to start? The car did not smoke at all when I bought it, on the drive home or before it was parked idling for a bit today. I have no clue what it could be but going from no smoke to quite a bit after being parked idling seems odd to me. There was no smoke when I started it up today and I didn’t notice a smell in the cabin when it was smoking.

Only thing on the list to do besides rotors is the water pump pulley. When I replaced the belt and had the crank pulley off I noticed the pulley has grooves in it and seemed to be missing some rubber. New pulley is ordered but I ran the car and watched the friction wheel spin the water pump before driving it. No engine lights or warning lights are on either.

Long post but thanks in advance!

If the car sat idling for a few minutes, then smoked when you took off, I would suspect PCV system, which means new cam cover. I would replace the hose that goes to the intake manifold, too.

Cam cover as in the valve cover? Anyway to test this before spending the cash on a new one? Previous owner told me he did a valve cover gasket replacement but didn’t say if he replaced the actual cover or not.

So I moved the car out of the garage last night and noticed there’s a bit of oil leaking under the passenger side. Looks like the crank seal area but I can’t confirm as the car isn’t apart. Any other things that could be leaking in that area?

Also, no smoke on start up and didn’t smoke at all when I gave it a little rev. These minis are starting to seem like a complete headache

Smoke off idle can also be valve seals. With it having 140k I wouldn't doubt if it was them.

it hasn’t smoked at all since that day. Is there anything that can cause oil to build up while idling but not smoke until I get the engine revving again? As in oil was being burned off of something because the car was idling for a while

Smoke at idle , generally is due to valve seals. When the engine is at idle, the vacuum produced is the higher. if the valve seal are hard and odes not seal very well allowing oil past to the combustion chamber.
