Blackout Beltline

Does anyone make a blackout beltline replacement for the R56? I tried the tape route but it kinda sucks and I REALLY hate the chrome!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I’ve never seen full replacement belt molding for the R56. Traditional options include the tape, Plastidip, or paint.

If you are really spastic with details and want everything to be completely perfect.... FORGET IT.

You cant buy it black...
You can wrap it very good if you do it slow slow slow..
There are ready pre cutted stickers but the vinyl quality is very bad.
Plastidip if you want it matte is ok..(make sure you make AT LEAST 5 layers of plasti dip)
If you want it goss with plasti dip almost forget itbecause gloss plastidip i think never went gloss enough + 2 times i tried to find the gloss it was run out of eveywhere
Paint.OH MY.....
In order to paint it proper( and that would be the perefect solution) you have to...
1.Remove the belt
2.Remove the rubbers (up/down of the nickel)...You slide it in order to be removed...PAIN IN THE *** to put it out and especially put it in.
3.Heat it in order to "brake" the nickel and remove it with some sharpen knife or anything thin/hard
4.Sand paper it...in order to be smooth
5.Paint it
6.Slide in the upper/lower rubbers THATS a job ONLY for a lifetime prisoner

Hope you figure it out.
The best solution is to buy some proper vinyl measure it....Cut it and place it as good/better you can.
Depends on how flawless or not you want it to be
