Hi guys, does anyone know what this light is? I never noticed it before. My gas light is on, is that what this is? Or something else?

Isn't that cruise control?

 

I tried clicking the cruise on and off. The green cruise symbol appeared and disappeared on the center dash but that symbol did not change on the tachometer on the steering.

 

Try putting some gas in it, in case it's related to that.
Automatic? Convertible? These have some unique symbols.
What does the Owners Manual have to say about it?

 

Is that on the tach too? That symbol doesn't show in the manual. What year/model mini?

 

You’re displaying the average speed and it’s supposed to be a speedometer, although a very bad one. They should have just used something like Avg. instead

Theres a printed tach icon on the gauge face next to the to the display for comparison.

 

I will try to put some gas in and see what happens. It's a hard top, six speed. 2011 MCS. I haven't seen it in the owner's manual.

 

Looks like RB was right. It's Just part of the statistic display. I just had never noticed it before.
