I have a leak in my sun roof that allowed the water to run down my A pillar and destroy my ECU. My question is can I replace it with a used ECU or does it have to be new. Also, I’m not sure where the leak is coming from because I can’t open the sun roof, has anyone else ran into this type of leak?

 

You mean the fuse box...if you can find one with the same part number, then you should be ok in terms of coding. The leak usually comes from the sunroof drains and if they're clogged, they overflow pass the roof liner.
