Yay, another issue. So I noticed today, that after I pressed the sport button the driving experience did not change. So I hit the button again to turn off sport mode and try again. The light turned green, but I did not get the notification on the dash, and the car definitely did not go into sport mode. Any thoughts?

 

Easiest thing to check would be the switch itself. I would pull the console and test the switch for continuity with a voltmeter.

 

Yep, sometimes people spill things on the switch and they stick.

owner since 2002 .. had a 7 now a 15 .....

sport button is silly . . . .

take mine ... won't miss it . . .

 

I use my sport button every time i get in it. I like the feel of the heavier steering.

 

How about shift gear **** to the side, does it work? If DS shows up on the screen, most likely it’s the button problem.

 

The DCS lights up and activates. I will check the button to see if that is the issue.
