Hey all, I have a issue with my sport mode. When I put the car in sport mode the light comes on and its displays the "sport" read-out in the dash, but then as I am driving it will just automatically turn off. Does anyone know what the issue is or what could cause this? Is it a simple fix or is it something more major?

 

When you say turn off, are you also referring to the light on the button itself?

If that light is lit, then your sport mode is stil active. The msg doesnt stay on all the time. That's normal.

 

The light itself turns off and the pops go away. It just randomly turns off while driving.

 

Maybe a detective button due to liquid spills. The circuit board is very tiny and could easy be damaged/corroded.

 

No I am referring to the little green LED. During driving it will just automatically turn off.

Yeah...if the function is there but not the light,
then the circuit board is faulty.

 

So about 8 or 9 days ago I left for work and my was was sitting outside (like normal), when I came back and drove it I put the car in sport mode and it did its normal thing(tighten steering and make those awesome pop and bubble noises) but then randomly while driving sport mode just turns off. Also I have one of those BoostSprinter (the one that you can adjust the throttle sensitivity/response)with a little cable remote and it usually has a green or red LED on(it still is) BUT the LCD number (that shows the intensity of the green or red mode) displayed is not coming on.


Any ideas on what this could be or what I should do?
