Fuel Codes after Thermostat Replacement

I could use some help!

I just did a bunch of work on my ‘09 MCS... oil cooler seals, filter housing seals, coolant pipe and thermostat housing. All looked and ran good until I sprung a leak at the coolant pipe to thermostat junction. So I tore it apart again to find that o-ring had deformed when I put them together. I replaced it, all seems good, but now I’m throwing fuel codes P0001, P0300, P0301, P0304.

Any ideas as what I screwed up this time around? Did I not get something plugged back in correctly? It seems the only two connectors that can be mixed up are the one for coolant temp on the top of the thermostat (two wires, yellow and white) and the one for the crankcase breather element (two wires, orange and black). I do have those correct, yeah?

I kind of want to cry at the thought of pulling it all apart for the third time, and am really hoping some of you will be able to tell me I should be looking for.

Thanks a bunch,

Kristina

My guess is you did not get the fuel pump connector plugged in correctly

P001 is a general fault for fuel control. The other P03xx are misfire codes.

That's the connector I was thinking of!

I just unplugged it and put it back, it seemed OK. Anything else to look at before I put the intake and air box back? I feel like I’ve been staring at everything so much that I’m not really seeing any more, if that makes sense.

Based on your codes, I can't think there would be anything else...

This is so frustrating :( I’m going to take a nap and put it back together later. Sometimes things magically fix themselves after a nap.

Woot! The nap worked! Or, it was your suggestion to double-check the HPFP connection. Thank you 🙏

Going to take it for a spin and see if I spring any leaks or throw more codes. Cross your fingers 🤣

Or not, now my bonnet won’t catch LOL

And yes all tools are accounted for. Oops minus one tiny extendable magnet thing.
