I realize there are lots of threads on this and i hate to start another. But is there someone who can help me. I installed it in my windows 10 computer following the installation instructions meticulously.
. When i start the INPA app i get the following error message . Any help would be appreciated!
it's been a loooong time since I saw this error. But, you might have navigate a file with ediabas.ini or inpa.ini or obd.ini in the BIN folder. Once you locate and open it, make sure the com is set to right one (should be COM1) and obd is called out, not Ethernet or something else. sorry if that adds to the confusion, but it is start

Thank you SO much. That allowed me to start the INPA application. I got the "Battery" and "Ignition" bubbles to fill in. BUT -- I just got the error below. I am trying to connect to an R56 (2008 turbo hatchback). The group file changes with my different selections, but the error is the same. ANY HELP VERY APPRECIATED!!!!!
I used the functional jobs and got different results.
I got the following error code. - I said yes a number of times and finally moved on the main menu -- see below
Main menu screen below -- I selected any of those and got the screen with the error shown below. EXCEPT for one -- when I asked for "VEHICLE DATA" I got the right data -- see further below
When I select any of the options (Except the Vehicle Data) I get
See the SYS-005: Object file not found error. Got it for everything
Did you make sure if you go to the K+dcan usb properties that the latency is set to 1 NOT 16?
Also, you might be missing files that read the modules. we could do a Teamview and go over your files. in the mean time, see if there is anything on youtube that goes through setting up INPA (to start with).
