Hi, all,
I was wondering if anyone had used the spin-on oil filter conversion plates I've seen around flea-bay, and if so, what was your experience with it?
I'm seeing a few things like this. I looked around and found a few threads on the topic, but didn't see any that mentioned these in particular.
I'm a little hesitant, especially seeing that there's no gasket between this plate and the engine block, so I'm thinking they're pretty worthless, but if I had a chance to convert to a spin-on oil filter, I definitely would.
TIA.
I have something
you guys mit be interested in.

What's wrong with the factory filter and housing? I've never had any issues with mine.
stock application absolutely nothing
it is kind of a pain in the *** though
Purely on the fact
of location
when you start putting bigger turbo on
and playing around
with power
it is very restrictive on flow
and being it sits under the turbo like that
you get some unnecessary oil temps
personally I think it’s a horrible idea
having an oil filter housing sitting under
the turbo like that
but that’s just my opinion
but once again
there’s absolutely nothing wrong
with the oem houseing
in stock form
look up 'RPM power tuning' on FB.. out of Canada .. you can PM for pricing, there is also an additional billet part for removing the OEM oil cooler and adding an external
In for finished installation pics if you have them. I totally agree about the oil filter being in that place- OEM or not, heat is heat and does add unnecessary degree temps to the oil.
Ok..thanks for reply..
But do u think that we will need to add more oil??
Is that one will affect the oil pump?
also we need to know how to fit and the results..
and I think that I found the company which made it..in facebook..
