R56 Ride height ?
Ride height ?
I bought this '09 6 months ago. I put in a 22mm rear bar last week. The rear springs may have been changed IDK. They look brand new not one spot of rust being 9 years old.
Question: Does the rear ride height look high or is this the way the car is supposed to sit?
Hard to tell from the picture but the rear might be a touch high. Are the shocks stock? Check that the distance from the center of the hub to the high point of the fender arch is consistent front vs. rear.
Nice color combination BTW. Ack-pthpt!

Agree with SquawSkiBum.
Looks like stock ride height to me. If the shocks are OEM, they should be black and have "Delphi" stickers on them (at least those are the only stock shocks for an S that I'm familiar with). The stock springs should also be black. Other than the GP2, the only other color springs were red - JCW springs.
I like that color combination as well.

They might have been replaced with stock springs from a convertible. I've read the springs rates are higher in the rear and that might raise the height on a hardtop, or maybe they're the correct new springs and you're used to seeing cars with slightly sagging springs.
