Yea, I would just get a Borg Warner /OEM JCW one or go with JM Turbo Coopers. Its a turbo and you don't want to go bottom barrel on those. Something happens and your engine just became really expensive to repair.

I am surprised ebay would let them advertise as oem, it looked way too good to be true. I am an automotive tech and previously picked up a used jcw turbo on ebay with a cracked exhaust housing for 150.00 and swapped over the stock s turbo housing and had a good look through everything when it was apart, huge performance difference even with a canned accessport tune. Now I want one for mine!

According to numerous news outlets and the US Government itself, China has been stealing manufacturing processes/secrets for years. Not just good ole US of A but also from anybody that had anything. They have some very sophisticated weapons of war and the next human to set foot on the moon will most likely be Chinese. Chances are good that the mechanism you are using to converse on this forum were made in China along with several other items in your home.
I do not have but IF I had an older high mileage car I would not think twice about buying such a part if I wanted to keep the car going a little longer and did not want to dig a bigger hole in my wallet. Did something similar with a car that my brother bought and I did the wrenching on. Struts, timing chains, AC condenser and a few other items on a Dodge Intrepid with the 2.7 liter engine, kinda like the n14 engine. Car is still running with no issues.
