forced inline heaters for cold starts

Hi.. I have a 09 HT mini cooper. Love it and I drive in the Canada. It gets cold and I would like to get a heater for the engine to help with the -30 C starts. I have visited a few inline forced heaters like zerostart and I hoping to find some information regarding the coolant flow in the engine/heater core. Do you or anyone on the site know if is a problem putting one in? Thanks

Going to move you to the Gen2 area. You should get some better views there.
