I know I can't be the only one that takes their puppers with them in the car, are there any readily available setups to protect the back of the back seats and level out the trunk space so they have a flat area to lay? I found the trunk liner and extended liner on Mini Mania which looks great, but that still leaves the "shelf" transition between the back seats and trunk space. I also saw they have an awesome storage container pack for the F56 that would be absolutely perfect, anything like that for the R56?
I've used one of those in the past in a 4 door and it worked pretty well. But in a 2 door with a full size husky it might be a bit difficult to get him in and out, more looking for something to level out the boot and protect the back of the back seats.

Hi, wondering if you found a solution to level out the boot? I'm looking for something for the same reason (big dobbie). Thanks
I've been using this cover for the past year. I found one on Ebay for a little over $100. It works well, but the side flaps don't stay in play very well. My dog is pretty calm so the side coming down hasn't been a problem for me.
Never did find anything to level out the actual trunk section but he generally stays on the back of the seats themselves and as close to the front seats as he can so it's not really an issue. I will also agree that the sides do not stay in place too well, thinking about changing out the suction cups to some that use a lever to pull suction.
I cut some old mattress topper foam to fit the boot sump (took 3 layers), topped it on with a pc of rigid insulation board, then put on a vinyl cover, which is long enough to flip out & protect the bumper from dog nail scratches.
My dog prefers pickup truck though, as the window goes down & he gets to stick head out.
I just use an old comforter. I don't think my dog (a 55 lb. border collie) cares if it's level, and I actually think he enjoys it since he usually curls up in the back space. Also, you can pull out the comforter to go over your bumper when the dog's hopping in or out of the car (to prevent scratches).

What suction cups did you switch to? I'd like to do the same.
